We would like to thank you for supporting Giyahna and Titus in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met on a campus ministry trip in Colorado Springs in Dec 2023. He says he noticed me right away and told his friends he had "dibs." We didn’t talk again until April 2024, when he texted me out of the blue, we talked until 2 a.m. A week later we had our first date, and two weeks after that, he asked me to be his girlfriend. On Feb 14, 2025, he proposed. Now we’re engaged and getting married on Sept 13, 2025!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memory is spending Christmas with my family. It was the first time Titus truly felt like part of the family, my mom even hung a stocking for him by the fireplace. Everyone was joking with him, and my grandpa, who’s the toughest critic, absolutely loved him. That’s when I knew he was really special, and I think my whole family saw it too.
What would you do with $20,000?We would use the $20,000 to pay off our wedding! We’re getting married on September 13, 2025, and like most couples, the costs add up quickly. This would lift a huge financial burden and allow us to start our marriage with more peace and freedom. It would be such a blessing to celebrate our love without the stress of debt hanging over us.
