Once upon a time, in a city so divine, called Compton two first generation kids met at Rosevelt Middle School through after school M.E.S.A. meetings and music. Began dating at the start of 10th grade at Domínguez High. One day in Ms. Monteilhs English class Giovanni asked to read Genesis’ journal. Rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Too many memories to play out. But one in particular that stands out has got to be our engagement. A culmination of years of building ourselves up, and growing through the concrete together. This trip to Switzerland was a literal dream come to life. Giovanni being the dreamboat he is, showed out all the stops to make this dream hold so much more meaning and love for Gènesis. Getting engaged in Switzerland was not the start of something new. It was a true celebration and testament of our love.
What would you do with $20,000?This would help us build the literal foundation for our HOME. On February 1, 2024 our 18 year old dog, Suri, crossed the rainbow bridge. This money would serve as a down payment for a future home and security to finally welcome a new pet into our life 🤍.
