We met in Physical Therapy school in 2017. Our first day of class was during the solar eclipse that year-pretty magical. A few months in, we realized that we had something more than being friends/classmates. On Valentine's Day 2018, Jack sneakily left chocolate, flowers and a very special note reading "I think you are pretty amazing. You should be celebrated on Valentine's Day and every other day" at Gina's doorstep. We have been happily together ever since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?For our honeymoon, we went to Cancun and went for a day trip to Chichen Itza. We didn't know this when we booked our trip but we went on the day of the spring equinox. The pyramid at Chichen Itza was built so that a snake appears to be crawling down the side of it due to the position of the sun during the equinox-how cool is that? We were part of a group that were the first to go to see the site since 2020 due to the pandemic. How lucky are we to have been there at the right time!
What would you do with $20,000?We live right outside of Asheville, NC, where Helene devastated much of the community. We would donate some to recovery efforts and use the rest to go on a great trip together.
