Chris and I are the kind of love that feels like home—effortless, balanced, unshakable. We don’t just fit—we elevate each other.
We would like to thank you for supporting Gina and Chris in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Chris and I go way back—we met in preschool, hit the same birthday parties as kids, then totally veered off into different high school worlds. Years later, I posted about helping my dad lay stone and gaining serious respect for manual labor. Since that’s Chris’s world, he messaged me—probably to make sure I wasn’t breaking my back—and that kicked off our unexpected reunion.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? On our first date, after 20+ years apart, we were at the bar when this drunk guy insisted he knew Chris from a club and swore Chris was from Nantucket. Chris kept saying, “That wasn’t me,” but the guy wouldn’t drop it and kept trying to buy us drinks. He also kept trying to shake Chris’s hand—awkwardly close to my crotch—which made it even more ridiculous. Sometimes, I’ll randomly call Chris “Nantucket.”
What would you do with $20,000?If Chris and I won $20,000, we’d use it to create our dream landscape—complete with garden beds, a patio, and a cozy fire pit. We’ve always wanted a space where we can host parties and bring all our family together, making memories in a yard that feels like home for everyone.
