I met Kyler's mom through a rescue. She wanted us to meet while he was in town one weekend. We met at an art festival and Kyler fell in love with me as soon as I stepped off the bus. We ended up talking for hours on the beach and made plans to see each other the next day before he flew back. Kyler spent months calling and texting trying to win me over. When I finally gave him the chance and brought up my concerns about us dating, his answer to everything was "we'll figure it out together."

So Kyler and I got engaged by accident. He took me out for this lovely sushi dinner on the roof of a hotel on the beach. We had the best time and Kyler is telling me how much he loves me and said "I feel like I should be pulling a ring out." We had only been dating for a month so I said "Let's talk about that first." We talked and after a while he says "Wait, if I had asked would you have said yes?" And other than the fact that our loved ones would freak out, I didn't have a reason to say no.

We want to travel the world. We eloped and then had a wedding. No honeymoon yet, but those 2 dates are exactly a week apart which means we have "Anniversary Week." (With the finale being April Fool's Day) So we know exactly what days to take a vacation! Kyler joined the U.S. Navy so he could travel the world, but has put that on hold so we can settle down together. Both of us love exploring new places and cultures, and nothing would be more special than sharing those experiences together.
