Well, we are highschool sweethearts, currently in the military, long distance and a power couple. Plus the height difference is cute.
We would like to thank you for supporting Gib and Gary (The Sorensens) in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
It began in a junior highschool math class. Haylee was enamored with him, but Gavin had no idea. After being friends, a twist of fate put them in the right place, at the right time in an In-N-Out. Lots of dates, laughs and memories later, and here they are.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? When he proposed. He took Haylee out to her favorite spot in Flagstaff, Arizona on a snowy mountain as the sun was setting. Gavin wore a Russian hat, poncho and arrival pants while Haylee was dressed like a regular person. He “slipped” and fell like a board. Then, while Haylee laughed, he spun quickly on his knee and asked her to marry him. It was the perfect combination of beautiful and fun that captured who they were at the core.
What would you do with $20,000?Honestly, probably something silly. Like buy an inflatable hot tub from costco. No, but actually, Haylee would use the money to fly out to where Gavin is currently stationed to visit him. They have been apart for over 6 months and it would be amazing for them to see eachother again!
