Connect How did your love story begin?

I remember seeing him dropping patients off at the hospital as a fire rescue firefighter. When we bumped into eachother again (10yrs later!) We shared stories, we laughed and We danced. It was a great first date. He was a true gentleman and said to me: “ I had a great time, I would really like to see you again.” We hung out 3 more times that same week. Our energy and connection was so beautiful. I relive that memory often :)

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I have several favorite memories I share with Gerald. But i’d have to say, my ultimate favorite, is when he puts on some of our favorite great music (whether through a mixer or vinyl) and its being played loud in our house and we are both singing to the top of our lungs, dancing, cooking, grabbing our 2 dogs and start spinning and dancing with them. We genuinely have fun in the most meaningful way.Gerald loves to joke around and be silly and has an infectious smile. So many great memories!

What would you do with $20,000?

Gerald & I have spent years building our careers and personal growth. We both worked the front lines during the pandemic and it was challenging in every aspect. I know that growth isnt just working hard, its also about embracing new perspectives. With the $20,000 we would want to take this opportunity in creating a future where we have the freedom to support others and continue to pursue our passions. Really make a difference in our lives.
