At a food drive. He came to my job looking for free produce to prepare meals for the “home-free”. He approached with a simple question, “Are you single?” After a yes response, he said, “ I am tired of being alone and I would like to take you to dinner”. He actually had tears in his eyes and his voice was soft but strong. I felt like a melting chocolate bar and said, “Maybe, if it is meant to be, we will see one another again”.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Gosh, so many but a Ragge concert that we flew into Tampa Florida’s for that included a 3 hour flight delay, cancelled hotel reservations , closed restaurants due to a recent storm. We ate Cheetos, drink gas station wine and honeybuns for dinner from the lobby of a cheap but a super kind hotel staff who allowed us to stay in the lobby as long as we didn’t fall asleep. We managed to stay awake with funny stories, dancing and hugs 🤗
