Connect How did your love story begin?

I met George in high school, he was a bmx rider and I was a cheerleader. It was love at first sight for me. I knew he was the one from the get go so I decided to stay friends all throughout high school with him. We grew together and formed this inseparable bond. When senior year came around we started dating and have been dating ever since. We’re going on 15 years together this year. When I studied abroad at Oxford university he came to visit me on my spring break. We absolutely love to travel

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

At 19 we backpacked around Europe on my spring break and stayed in hostels in different countries and literally ate cup o noodles to save money. We stayed in this hostel in Rome and we landed late at night and couldn’t find the exact location so we had to knock on different restaurant doors to try and find the address. We finally found it but it was such a crazy experience that I’ll never forget ! The hostel had really high ceilings so on our first night there we were attacked by birds!

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly with this 20,000 I would put it on a down payment for our future home. We’ve been saving for this wedding since we got engaged and are excited to start a family within the next year. To be able to have our own home would be such a blessing. We plan on traveling the world with our future little ones and creating new experiences where ever we go.
