Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began the moment we locked eyes during introductions at work in December of 2019. George was new to the office and was being walked around by his boss. When he came into my office he said, "I like what you've done with the place" with a sparkle and smile that had me hooked. After a few weeks of intense eye contact, and every excuse to walk by eachother's office, we finally got together after work for a drink. The rest is history!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our wedding was pretty spectacular. We eloped in New Hampshire, on the bank of the Saco River, just the two of us, our JP and photoraphers. We vacationed there the year prior and feel so deeply connected to the land and eachother while we are there. After our ceremony, our closest friends and family were invited to join us for dinner nearby, and because of the pandemic, we were limited by the reception venue to 30 people. The evening was intimate, unconventional, and pure joy.

What would you do with $20,000?

George is the biggest Northern Exposure fan, and introduced me to the Fandom when we first met. In our first month together, I booked us a trip to Roslyn, WA where the show was filmed. Fast forward one month, Covid-19 arrives, and our trip was cancelled. Silver lining was we went to the White Mountains of NH, 2hrs from home, and fell in love with the community and resort where we eventually ended up getting married. With the 20k, we would make our Roslyn dream come true and travel and explore.
