10 years, countless adventures, and one steady choice: love. Just your average couple, living fully and loving well—together.
We would like to thank you for supporting George Allen in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
Both drawn to Maui—me for school, him for a vacation he never returned from—George and I unknowingly danced around each other for years, even living in the same condo complex at one point. But one magical Friday night at Monkeypod Happy Hour, our story finally began. One year dating, one year engaged—and now, ten years later, we’re raising a wonderful little family and chasing adventure together. He’s in the jungle guiding hikes, I’m rappelling waterfalls—and we’re still falling for eachother. ♥
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory with my husband is welcoming our daughter into the world nearly three years ago. Watching him become a joyful, loving dad has been the greatest gift. He’s embraced fatherhood with grace, laughter, and endless heart. Parenting with him is pure fun—and our little girl brings out the sweet, silly kid in both of us.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d add it to our savings toward buying a home here on Maui. Island life is beautiful but not without its challenges—like many locals, we juggle multiple jobs to make ends meet. We feel grateful to have saved enough for a bit of travel along the way, but a boost to our savings would bring us one step closer to planting deeper roots—and maybe even growing our little Allen crew!
