How did your love story begin?

I was asked by a co-worker to bartend a surprise bday party for her husband. My husband was a friend of theirs and attending the party. He noticed me right away as I was setting up the bar. I noticed him when he went to pick up more alcohol for the bar and dropped a bottle of tequila in the driveway. I teased him about it all night and he later asked for my number and walked me to my car. We still joke about his clumsiness all these years later.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

There isn’t one favorite memory but a string of many. They aren’t big or grand but many small moments that have filled our hearts. The day we met, our 1st date and his mispronunciation of the movie, our long 3rd date, me walking down the aisle, finding out we were pregnant after trying for years, bringing our son home from the NICU, his epically loud fart in Walmart, just to name a few.

What would you do with $20,000?

Use it for a redo honeymoon. We had no money when we got married. I charged a small vacation to Sedona, AZ for a couple nights. The whole time we were there my husband’s work kept calling him and bugging him at all hours. I remember standing at the Grand Canyon taking in the view and his work calling him constantly. I know he would have ignored the calls if he could but he was so worried about his job security and we desperately needed the money. He barely remembers our mini honeymoon.
