Connect How did your love story begin?

We were set up as total strangers and started texting nonstop. It was supposed to just be a stranger photoshoot and a one-time dinner during my vacation to Hawaii. Our connection was instant—late-night FaceTimes, music swaps, deep talks, and somehow planning a future before we’d even met. We both came from painful pasts, but something about each other just felt like home. From day one, it felt like we’d always known each other. We loved each other before our skin ever touched.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

That is hard because our life feels like a literal fairytale. We have traveled a lot; hiked a volcano, went skydiving over the pacific, rode a raft around the Nā Palí coast of Kauai, & so much more. I think having our dream wedding with our families, watching us heal from the previous abuse & find true love is at the top, with the birth of our son a few months ago & he chose to love my babies as his own from the start.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would put a chunk of it into investment accounts for our 3 children, take the kids on their first out of country trip, pay a chunk of it to our amazing friend that brought us together, and maybe finally take the honeymoon we've been dreaming about to Greece. One thing I've learned, is that true happiness is our family & the money is just a bonus. This is genuine happiness.
