How did your love story begin?

It began on a Wednesday night in the La Cave parking lot located in Newport Beach, CA. I see this girl step out of her car. My very first thought was “Wow, I’m either going to marry that girl or marry someone that looks like her!” Love at first sight but our first interaction wasn’t the best. By the end of the night I already had her thinking I was annoying. Glass half full, I had her number. It was my mission to go on a date.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have two that we can both agree on! Favorite memory was the time I told my wife (then girlfriend) to come crash my cousin’s wedding. I’m Sicilian. Our weddings are huge. No one would notice. She arrives at wedding, we dance and drink all night. She’s making friends with all my cousins, including the bride & groom. No one knows who she is but she was so outgoing and friendly, she fit right in. Turns out, everyone knew she crashed the wedding but since she fit in so well, no one cared.

What would you do with $20,000?

The $20,000 would pay off medical debt with MD Anderson. That would free up an extra $543.54 in monthly medical debt. Then, it would paying the remaining balance of our credit card. When we moved from California to Texas in 2023, we spent money on getting our CA home ready to sell and for all the fun moving expenses that come with it. Paying that off would be free up an additional $458 +/- each month! This money would be life changing.
