My husband sent me a Facebook friend request, followed up with a private message saying “I hope the friend request wasn’t creepy, I just thought you looked familiar.” Classic pick up line, but it worked! We never stopped talking since that very first message. He even used a flip phone and sent the longest, most beautiful responses to everything I said!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We’ve shared so many, but I think the day we got married is our favorite. He never thought he’d get married and I had sworn I’d never do it again after my divorce. But we both just KNEW this was IT. We leaped in with both feet and it has been the healthiest, happiest, and most loving relationship either of us has ever had. We cherish each other wholly.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to use it for some much needed projects around our home, but especially in our master bathroom. My husband works hard at a prison and he showers every night when he gets home and I think he deserves to do that in a space that helps relax him. Not one that reminds him of all the things that need to be done in there.
