We met at 1 of Chad's shows but I didn't want to date a lead singer. We became friends & I supported him on stage for 4 years before 1 night someone was hitting on me & Chad came to the rescue. While playing boyfriend our lips accidentally touched. We kissed briefly at the end of the night & I ran like a schoolgirl out the door. He left on tour the next day but we kept in touch. He asked if we could "hang out" & I asked if it was a date. He said yes & we've been together ever since.

Our favorite memory is when Chad did a surprise proposal on horseback on Baker Beach in OR. We'd never discussed marriage so it was a complete surprise when in the middle of the ride, with 40 mph winds, Chad leaned over and said, "Today. Tomorrow. And Every Day After. Will you marry me?" I was stunned staring at the beautiful horseshoe ring he placed on my finger. After a few moments Chad asked, "Well?" and I squealed "YES!!!!" Chad combined our love of the ocean, horses, and each other!

We have an annual charity event we do with horses and music that raises money for PISTLE. Their organization supports first responders who have suffered trauma in the line of duty. A portion would definitely go to them. We also have a small property that we have wanted to develop but we've had some medical issues pop up and it has made it impossible. It would be great to get to work on our property.
