Connect How did your love story begin?

End of 2020, I (Fey) was working as a dog training/daycare GM. I’d bring Joplin my golden retriever & Jenna started bringing her wiener dog Wally. Leave it 2 the dogs, the true MVPs who set in motion what was the beginning of our beautiful love story. Jenna & I started texting about the dogs& quickly became friends texting 24/7, sight unseen given the pandemic. FYI Jenna was STRAIGHT but meeting IRL —sparks flew; and here we are today 4.5 yrs later married, in the most epic partnership .

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We just got married on April 10th in Tulum,Mexico with our families and friends (most of my side coming from Brazil and Europe/UK) so I have to say that one takes the cake. It was the most magical week and being in such beautiful places with our favorite people felt incredibly special. It was a 36-guests-wedding so it was very intimate and we had all been together for a few days already so everyone got to know each-other before and the actual wedding night was so filled with love and happiness.

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d take a dream trip across the country in a cozy camper with our two dogs—coffee in hand, playlists queued, and no real agenda. We'd visit national parks, small towns, queer-owned bookshops, and every dog-friendly trail we can find. We'd invest in experiences that deepen our connection, inspire our creativity, and give our dogs the adventure of a lifetime. The rest? We'd put toward building our forever home—where love and dog hair are always abundant.
