Connect How did your love story begin?

It was the first day of school freshman year he came in late to class and I was seated on my desk that’s when the door flew open and it was him my heart skipped a beat, he was cute and funny. The next day our seats were arranged by the teacher and I was sat in front of him that’s how we started talking a little. I knew I liked him. Everyday I couldn’t wait to go to that class just to see him. My best friend had him in all his classes so she would always tell him about me and that’s how we start.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories is seeing him as a grandpa. We just had our first grand baby and everything we’ve been through the ups and downs just became a part of us. We grew up together and learned together. We had a troubled childhood but we wanted something better for our family. Now I see him and I’m even more in love cause he never gave up on us always working hard to provide for us. We bought our own house in 2020 that day was also unforgettable because many people doubted us.

What would you do with $20,000?

We have been talking about doing a business. I am very creative and want to start something and hopefully one day quit my job and spend more time with our kids and grandkids and buy land and live in a tiny home making memories. We keep working hard for one day we know this dream will come true and travel of course.
