We met on Bumble, so I find it fitting to describe myself as a bee circling a new flower - curious yet hesitant. Months passed before the first date, but I eventually said yes. I cancelled all my plans with other people immediately after the date, because I knew Favour was the only flower for me. I mean, really - how could you want to buzz anywhere else, when you’ve found where you bloom best? 🐝🌼
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My love for Favour came fast, and so I secretly practiced the words in his family language. I didn’t know when I would say it, but I knew how I would. The moment came after he helped me move. I was tired and irritable - he was patient and kind. I remember the quiet before I said, “a fụrụ m gị n'anya”. He paused, confused. I felt my heart in my throat, worried I butchered it. I started to repeat myself but he quickly cut me off with a hug. In a hushed voice, he whispered back, “I love you, too”.
What would you do with $20,000?We would build security and stability - rent paid, bellies full, health cared for - free from the stress of counting pennies. We’d share what we had with friends, creating new memories through experiences we could otherwise not afford. It’s not big or flashy, but it’s us. It’s serenity, community, and love. 🥰
