We met at a mutual friend's birthday. I (Estee) was drinking a Coors Light & talking smack about craft beer. Forrest laughed at my jokes. What I didn't know is that he was in school to be a brewer! He was a good sport! On our first date, we realized we had a lot of mutual connections, including my brother. We grew up in the same town, at one point living in the same neighborhood, and never met until the timing was perfect!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We've traveled abroad together and had a beautiful engagement and a very special wedding. However, our favorite memory is probably mundane to others but it's taking our late dog Lance to the beach, throwing the ball for him, and watching him frolic in the waves. He was a coastal dog and the beach was his favorite place. He passed away the day before our wedding and that was very hard. Now that he's gone those memories just feel like the sweetest and most special memories we have together.
What would you do with $20,000?We have so many home improvement projects we would like to complete to make our space cozy! One of those projects would be turning our office into the coolest baby/kids room ever! We also want to go on a vacation - a European river cruise with family would be delightful!
