Connect How did your love story begin?

We met right before COVID and feared our love might not last—not from a lack of affection, but because of the distance between us. Despite spending six months apart and socially isolated, we found ways to connect every day. Through trials, tribulations, and tragedy, we’ve stuck together, encouraged each other, and found inspiration in our bond. We grow stronger as a pair with each passing day, and every moment apart only deepens our longing to be together.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is the night we got engaged. After a perfect dinner and popping the question at home, we had to evacuate due to a dumpster fire blazing outside our apartment. Later, we laughed—it felt on-brand. Like meeting during COVID, our milestones often come with chaos, but we always persevere. As neighbors congratulated us amid the madness, our love burned brighter than the fire—a perfect symbol of our resilience. More can be expressed of that night but surpasses max character limit.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we could take the next step toward building the family we’ve always dreamed of. Currently living with her father and brother in her childhood townhouse, space for starting a family is limited. We’d use the funds for a down payment on a home capable of fitting a nursery. To us, success isn’t about money but love. That love extends beyond us, and we hope to raise children in a home full of compassion, support and the example of how two people should truly love and support each other.
