Connect How did your love story begin?

We met as teens at a church camp—me from Louisiana, him from South Carolina. Years later, we reconnected at the same camp and fell in love. After a year of long-distance, I moved to SC, and a year later, he proposed at Christmas in the Oaks. We married on 11/21/15 and have grown stronger ever since. Though infertility has tested us, our faith and love remain unshakable. God has been good, and we’re still praying for our miracle.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories is when he proposed to me at Christmas in the Oaks in New Orleans’ City Park. The lights were glowing, music played softly, and the air was filled with holiday magic. We had gone there every year, but this night was different, he got down on one knee under twinkling lights and asked me to be his forever. It was perfect, unforgettable, and so full of love.

What would you do with $20,000?

We will use the $20,000 to cover IVF treatment, including medications, egg retrieval, embryo creation, and transfer. This funding brings us one step closer to growing our family and fulfilling our dream of becoming parents. After years of trying and multiple IUI rounds, IVF gives us renewed hope for a miracle. We’re deeply grateful for the chance to keep fighting for our future baby.
