It was the right place at the right time kind of situation. I applied to a ton of jobs but only heard back from 1. Turned out that 1 would bring me the love of my life. We both just got out of a marriage. Not really looking for love, but love found us. It was easy, like breathing. We just clicked. Drinks after work turned into so much more.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Its not a singular memory, but any time we have the chance to go golfing, it becomes a favorite memory. Eric has been golfing his entire life. At first I would go and just ride with him, but then I wanted to learn. I wanted it to be something we could do together without the kids. He taught me how to swing and the rules. Now it becomes our dates. It doesn't happen as often as I would like, but when we get the chance, we have the best time.
What would you do with $20,000?There isn't something specific we have in mind for the 20k, it's more of a safety net. Having money in our back pocket for when emergencies come up or when our kids want to do something special that our normal paychecks can't pay for.
