In 2018, we worked in the same town. He was a civil engineer and I was a barista at a local cafe. I served him for 1.5 years and he never spoke to me (I still joke about it) until late 2019 when the cafe was closing. We lost contact, but we ran into each other a year later at another cafe. I recognized him and said, “hey large iced coffee black!”. We talked for 4 hours that day and we haven’t stopped talking since. Paolo asked me out in the middle of a snowstorm in January 2021!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There’s too many, I can’t narrow it down to one. My favorite moments shared we’ve shared are a combination of the way he loves my senior chihuahua the way I love him, traveling through Europe with him in 2023 and realizing how much we loved being with each other each night, going on picnics to the parks or beaches, and having a ‘free trial’ of living together. When his parents went to the Philippines for a month, we stayed at the house and tested out living together.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d honestly put it towards our future. With hit 4 years this past January and have been seriously discussing getting engaged and married.
