Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began ..by putting it on pause. Erica was my visiting nurse to aid me in taking care of my mother who was dying of cancer. I had butterflies when she left after her 2nd visit. It became hard to look her in her beautiful eyes, they zap my soul. She and I never flirted, I was an emotional mess over my mother and she was ever the professional. Once my mother had passed we finally could put our caregiving roles aside. It turned out we both had crushes on each other the whole time.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

After she and I had been able to hang out for the first time in a friendly setting we had to wait a few days to see each other again. It was the longest three days of our lives. When we finally did it was the first night I was going to her house. Upon arrival stepping into her hallway we embraced and just hugged for probably a half hour. It was like I was dying myself and needed to feel the glow of my new life source, her. It was very pure, she had become my salvation.

What would you do with $20,000?

I'd invest some of it into better equipment for my art. Use it to go on our first real trip. Buy her son a Nintendo Switch 2. Help out a few friends that are struggling right now. Buy her an ice cream.
