It began, 12/24/95, we met on a plane in PA. I was coming from FL, he was coming from IN, both heading to NY, to be with family. Eric had lost his first wife from cancer just a few months before. The distance, and my fear he wasn’t ready, put an end to us, before it even started. He remarried, that ended, and 20 years later, almost to the day, we reacquainted. 7 mths later, I moved to be with him, 2 years later, we married! We believe we were given a 2nd chance, and we weren’t going to waste it!

I don’t believe we have just one. I am sure a common answer would be Our Wedding. We had a travel themed wedding. Our invitations were boarding passes, our cake was stacked luggage and we even had a mock up of plane windows, for selfies. Our theme was Love is in the Air. (He proposed on a plane, too, over the speaker, at the front of the plane). We also take a photo at places we go, with our hands, making the word LOVE, over our heads. The first one we did like this, was at our wedding 💗

Invest it and let it grow- then - maybe finally take that honeymoon we didn’t have! Make repairs on our home, save for a rainy day. Put aside as our kids are getting to that marrying age… I’d like to put a memorial bench, at the cemetery where my parents are…so many ideas!!
