We were friends for 8 years before our first kiss; the running joke is that we were “always dating” but were just taking it REALLY slow…
We would like to thank you for supporting Eric and Amanda in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
As all great love stories should- with true friendship. We were friends through high school and college - Fast forward to summer a few years later, we were working together at the local theater and we started spending all of our time together, neither one of us wanting the night to end. One night I said I wished we had a fire pit to hang around, Eric came back from Lowe’s with one the next day. We moved in together by the following winter.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? If we had to pick, it would probably be our wedding- one magical night surrounded by our friends and family and so much love. And even though it rained, we were lucky enough to have a rainbow appear just before golden hour. We’d do it all over again and host a party like that for our friends every year if we could.
What would you do with $20,000?Put it towards our future plans! (We are millennials, and would like to one day find a little house with a green yard so we can put down roots of our own.) My late father always said “marry your best friend- someone who will go with you to the supermarket every week or take you to the DMV, and no matter where you go you can laugh the whole time.” I know wherever we go together, we’ll be laughing in love all the way.
