Picture this: it’s 2010, “Bulletproof” is playing, and I spot a cutie (Jon) at my birthday bowling night. Later, I accidentally walk into the men’s room—where Jon was! Totally mortifying. We didn’t cross paths again for 6 years, until we ended up at the same bar. I asked him for advice about being ghosted, and he said, “If you want someone to text you back, here’s my number.” And just like that, everything changed. 💫
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?After 9 years, it’s hard to pick just one favorite memory—but this one stands out. I was in Felton doing wedding makeup all day, deep in the forest with no cell service. Jon, off exploring old trains nearby, had no idea where I was. Panic set in (for me), but somehow, my cutie used his survival instincts and found me in the middle of the woods. That’s when I knew—he’d walk to the ends of the earth (and through a forest) to find me. 🥹🌲
What would you do with $20,000?This one's easy. We’ve always lived in the Bay Area, but my amazing parents recently moved to Bend, OR (can’t blame them—it’s gorgeous!). With my dad’s recent Alzheimer’s diagnosis, we’ve decided to follow and be closer to them. He’s one of the kindest, most loving humans we know, and we want to soak up every moment. A $20,000 boost would help us start fresh, support our family, and make this next chapter full 💛
