Connect How did your love story begin?

We met when I was on holiday in Colombia and he was my white water rafting instructor. He found me again 5 years later, then 2 years after (due to Covid) we decided to meet up in person again. If after ten days on holiday together, we clicked, we decided to get married and start a family… and that’s exactly what we did! He proposed, I said yes. We got pregnant. Then our journey started meeting in multiple countries all over the world, had our baby abroad and then I brought him to America!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is the first day we met. (Other than our daughter’s birth). We shared a magical day together, where he showed me his town, made out under he stars, and the night was turning into day and we had to say goodbye. It was the memory we both kept close to our hearts for 7 years that brought us back together. He was the most respectful, handsome man I ever had the luck to share a day with. I was pretty foreign girl who told him I’d see him again somewhere in the world. And we did.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use the money for a honeymoon we haven’t gotten to do. We would go on a motorbiking couples trip either through the ‘Stans (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan) or Patagonia. We both love motor biking and we are adventurists at heart.
