How did your love story begin?

My mom and dad actually saw each other at my mom’s high school prom! (He was not supposed to be there due to the difference in schools) but they never actually talked to one another. They then surprisingly saw each other at a party and my dad offered to walk her home that night, and asked permission to kiss her. She was hesitant at first but, was the first one to lean in and that’s when their story together began. They knew it was each other forever.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

“One of our greatest memory’s that we shared together was starting our family. We were so blessed to have our 3 children, but we were not done after that. We then were blessed with 4 more children that needed a home and a safe place to grow. We first fostered with high hopes that their family would come back together. However that was not the case. But through all of the sadness, the light was brighter than the darkness and we were able to raise our 3 children along with the addition of 4 more!”

What would you do with $20,000?

I definitely feel like my mom and dad would try to use the $20,000 to pay bills or credit cards but, they have not been on a vacation together by themselves for a very long time so, I would encourage them to use that money to take the time to go on a vacation together and discover the world, again. They have worked hard taking care of me and my six siblings, and they deserve to reward themselves for raising us because without them encouraging us everyday, we wouldn’t be who we are today.
