We serve God daily, have the same love languages, and act crazy together.
We would like to thank you for supporting Emily and Jonathan in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
While I was in college, we spent a lot of time together on the campus, but only as best friends. We had Bible studies and other fun conversations, listened to music, ate food, drank coffee, laughed until it hurt, and even had a few silly-string fights. Little did we know: we had feelings for each other the whole time! Eventually, we both confessed our feelings, started growing even closer to each other, and the rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? One evening, he took me to eat at Texas Roadhouse and then to the city’s lake to hang out some more. After arriving, we saw some deer near the woods and decided to scare them. Suddenly, I stuck my head out of the front passenger-side window and yelled, “SQUAAAAWWKK!!!!” like a mad chicken toward the group of deer, which caused my now-husband to DIE laughing for the next minute or two; he even recorded me doing it!
What would you do with $20,000?We would donate a portion of it to our church, use it for growing our very-small businesses, and use it to help us build a house.
