We moved to Japan together on a whim when we first started dating, and we’ve been adventure buddies ever since. We also work out together!

I (ellie) was living with a mutual friend between college semesters and Andy showed up wearing TOE SHOES after a very sweaty run. I remember us looking at each other like we'd met before. We dated for a bit, but we were young and I broke up with him. We stayed friends and eventually (about 3 years and a lot of solo traveling later), we dated again. I got a job in Japan and invited him to move there with me. He did and the rest fell into place.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Everywhere we go we make it an adventure; ice lantern festival in Otaru, tattoos in Dallas, taking a jeep up Manua Kea But our last trip to Yosemite for Firefall. It was snowy and quiet, and we spent our nights at the lodge around the indoor campfire drinking boozy hot chocolate and discussing my (Ellie's) fantasy book. It was a really creative trip; Andy focused on his photography and I wrote. We got engaged in Yosemite so every trip there is nostalgic and special
What would you do with $20,000?Andy's answer: "Each buy a new motorcycle. Haha, realistically a down payment on a house." Ellie's Answer: "Yellowstone trip to see the big fauna! But also, a downpayment on a house. We love our housemates (the same person I was living with when i met andy!), but there are things we want to add to make our living space our own- like a dog wash and an in-home lyra hoop"
