We both speak Mandarin Chinese; an extremely rare find. It’s like we have a secret language and we have the exact same sense of humor.

Zack was performing free Shakespeare in the park near the Statue of Liberty in NYC -- in a twist of fate, Ella randomly ran into an old teacher and was invited to see the play, where she saw Zack performing and immediately fell in love (the costume tights helped). Ella shot Zack a look from the audience (but now denies it) and Zack approached her after the show and invited her to the cast party that night. They spent every night together since.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? On our first date, we went to a Michelin-starred Chinese restaurant in Brooklyn, where Zack ordered in Mandarin. Ella was in shock, having grown up in a Mandarin-speaking household, now sitting across from an Italian-Jewish man speaking fluently. After dinner, we arrived late with our leftovers to a black box play in an abandoned studio, it looked empty so Ella called out "Hello?" like a scooby-doo character. A figure came out and scared us to death. We still say "Hello?" as an inside joke today
What would you do with $20,000?Get married and go on an adventurous honeymoon around China, Japan, and Asia.
