We met in 2003 through a friend and ended up at a birthday party together. That night, I kicked him in the foot and asked, “Can I sleep in your bed?” He said yes, and we left together. After one unforgettable night, I knew he was my person. Within three weeks, he moved into my basement suite after being evicted. He connected instantly with my son, who now calls him Dad. That was the beginning of a love that would shape our whole lives.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?After Trevor learned to walk again, we hit the road in our old RV, homeschooling our kids while I tattooed in every Canadian province and wrote for a tattoo magazine. We made a living through art and adventure, chasing the open road. Some of my favorite memories are from that time, tattooing in shops across the country and riding the biggest and best rollercoasters in Canada and the US. It was wild, healing, and full of love, freedom, and unforgettable joy.
