We met in 2017 in our local community theaters production of Shrek the musical. We quickly became friends and soon after became much more. From the ripe age of 17 we began the journey of the lifetime. Married less than a year after we started dating, we’re known in our community as the love story that everyone got to witness as they saw it bloom on stage firsthand.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite thing that we’ve done as a couple thus far was producing our film Running Home. A film about gun violence within schools. Getting to navigate that territory with each other was a huge challenge, but brought us closer together and made the calling for our lives more clear.
What would you do with $20,000?If we were granted the $20,000 we would finally have the funds to register our small indie company as a nonprofit. As well as pay off some of the debt that we’ve incurred from our past projects and have the opportunity to move forward towards a brighter and better future where we get the opportunity to keep doing the thing that we love to do the most. And maybe be given the opportunity to share these stories with the people who need to see them.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like America's Favorite Couple, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
