I don't know what makes us a great couple but I can say God helps us continue to be great to one another in our marriage.

We were both previously married with children when his cousin introduced us on Facebook. Quiet messages turned into something real, and two months later, we were serious. We shared our love openly, even with the cousin, and moved in together after three months. In May 2026, we’ll celebrate 15 years together, 10 of them married. He’s my best friend, the one who knows me better than I know myself — and I him.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?My favorite memory is when he proposed to me in front of the Towers of America. He sang to me "Everytime I Close my Eyes" from Babyface. At the end of the song he got on one knee and proposed. I told him I needed to call my parents. He said they knew because he had their blessings. No one had ever done that with my parents. Priceless!
What would you do with $20,000?I would take him on a true honeymoon. We never had the chance to do that. Just before we got married, both his parents passed away. We took responsibility of their bills and we had 4 little ones. There was no time for honeymoon. Our kids are grown and now we can do for each other.
