We were roommates in college. Elliott fell first, keeping the crush a secret for 3 whole years. After a dramatically romantic confession and 1 fondue date later, it clicked into place for Paola too. Our love started soft, and we had the pleasure of exploring our city and growing up together before we made it official. We are all the stronger because of it.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory together is visiting the annual Lilac Festival. We’re both very interested in nature and conservation, so the Lilac Fest is a way to immerse ourselves in the beauty of where we live. We dress up, visit local vendors, eat fried food, and take silly photos in front of the blooms.
What would you do with $20,000?We want to open a multi-cultural shared art space in our city. Our dream is to host classes about folkloric art techniques, provide accessible instruction and materials for diverse and low-income artists, and build a judgement free space to learn art in our community.
