Our love story didn’t begin in the most expected place but in a place most people pass by without a second thought: Lowe’s Home improvement, Among the aisles of wood, tools, and home essentials, God had written the beginning of something extraordinary. I wasn’t looking for love that day, and I’m not sure Edwin was either. But somehow, in that everyday moment, heaven aligned our paths.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is our proposal. After dinner with his pastors on our 8-month anniversary, we planned to celebrate with dessert. Quietly, he received a call—his mom told him a package arrived (it was the ring!). At home, as I enjoyed my dessert, he came downstairs, got on one knee, and poured out his heart with so much love. Then came the big question: “Will you marry me?” I said yes through happy tears and hugged him tight.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000, we’d invest in our future — paying down debt, saving for our first home, and supporting our ministry work. We’d also take time to create memories, maybe a trip to Jerusalem (a dream of ours!), and bless others along the way. Our love is rooted in faith, and with this blessing, we’d build wisely, give generously, and grow stronger together — for God’s glory and our shared purpose.
