How did your love story begin?

He was the cute guy at work, and I was the girl he was too shy to talk to. A friend request turned into playful chats, deep talks, and a sweet confession—he had a crush on me. Despite living in different states, our connection grew. Then fate stepped in: I got a job in California, where Alex lived. Our first date led to a kiss under the Golden Gate sky, and eventually, a beachside proposal in Ghana. All from one friend request—proof soulmates can find you when you least expect it.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

A love shared from coast to coast, and across continents. In 2024, we had the pleasure of traveling to Ghana where Alex reunited with his family after 11 long years. It was my first time meeting them, and what I thought was a beautiful homecoming turned into something even more unforgettable: a surprise proposal! The trip was full of emotion, great food, and unforgettable moments, but most of all, it overflowed with love. The perfect blend of family, culture, and the start of our next chapter.

What would you do with $20,000?

Our greatest dream is to share this moment with the people who matter most. With family spread across two continents, we’d use the prize to collide our worlds together in the best way: helping our loved ones travel to celebrate with us. For those who aren’t able to make the journey, we plan to visit them after the wedding, creating space to honor meaningful cultural traditions. This celebration isn’t just about us- it’s about honoring the people who shaped, loved, and prayed for us.
