We have known each other for 20 years, dated for 5, married for 5, and never left the honeymoon phase. All thanks to a rotten peach!
You decide who wins $20,000 and appears in Variety magazine as America’s Favorite Couple
Our story started when we were in middle school, all due to a rotten peach. My husband and his friends all grabbed peaches from the tree of the neighbor behind me. I was walking down the same street to meet a friend. When my husband bit into his peach, a worm had already eaten through it! "ahhh, this peach is rotten!", he said. He then turned to me, said "Here, you can have it!" and threw it at me. I said to myself, I will NEVER get along with him, well that obviously did not happen!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? The moment we both saw each other after years of distance and no-contact. We were both recently single, recently re-connected because of social media, and decided to hang out during a fall-break in college to catch-up. My mom was uncomfortable with me driving the full distance from school to where my husband was living, so we had to meet halfway, which happened to be my grandmas house. The moment we laid eyes on each other, we knew that each other was OUR person.
What would you do with $20,000?There are so many things we could use $20,000, but at the moment our two biggest priorities are buying a new car and paying off loans.
