When I was 5 years old, my dad’s best friend was Steve. His daughter Stephanie was my best friend. When I was about 6 years old, Steve began dating Terry. Terry is my husband’s mom. Growing up, our families were always together. Family bonfire nights, flying model airplanes, and just playing video games. It wasn’t until my graduation party that a spark lit for Eddie and I. He had always just been a friend, nothing more or less. Something changed in the way we saw each other that night.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Eddie and I have been through a lot together. We have adopted three beautiful girls and our favorite memory is the first time we took all three girls to Disney World. It was the first time our family was complete and the peace we felt as a family is one of the most precious memories.
What would you do with $20,000?Eddie and I have only been away from our girls one time. With the money we could afford to take a trip, to celebrate our 25 years of being in love. We could use some of the money to help give our girls the life they deserve.
