We met at a party in Brooklyn after orbiting the same nightlife circle for years—she’s a DJ, he’s a photographer. One night, he saw her on a flyer and asked a friend, “Who’s that?” Turns out, she was in the club that night. He DMed her, she replied, they met, and the DJ played kompa as they danced. She’s Haitian, he’s French. She asked him out, he brought flowers. They lived 3 minutes apart. One dinner later, they realized—same world, same friends, just waiting to meet. Now, inseparable.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Their favorite moments are the quiet ones — nights on the fire escape, music playing low. Just us, trading songs and thoughts like old friends. She’s a versatile DJ with deep musical roots, moving between genres effortlessly. He used to DJ too, and even though we come from different cultures — she’s Haitian, he’s French — music is our shared language. We sit out there for hours! The music is only part of it. We talk about life, where we come from, where we going.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we’d love to take a few trips together in the Caribbean—connecting with each other and the cultures that shaped us. She’s Haitian, he’s French, and music is our shared language.
