We met freshman year at the Kansas City Art Institute and became very good friends. By the end of our junior year, Andrew would ask Salacia if she was hungry and wanted to go get lunch or dinner. After about 15 of these meals, most of them being extremely nice dinners, Salacia finally asked Andrew with a big smile what the hell was going on to which Andrew replied that he enjoyed her company. That same night Salacia later made a move to lean in for a kiss and they haven't stopped since.

Our first kiss. We had been hanging out for most of the day and by the end of the night some comment about us kissing is made. Salacia, after thinking on it for a second, leans into Drew for that kiss thinking not much would come of it other than two friends finding that they don't care for that. Wrong! Sparks were flying everywhere, actual visuals happened when we kissed. Unlike any other kiss either of us have had before. We knew that this was something real.

We would invest it into our homestead in Evergreen, Colorado. Our 900 sq. ft. home is a summer cabin from the 50's with no AC and extremely old wiring so it needs a decent amount of love. We've been diligently working on this homestead for almost 3 years now just the two of us, and a re-roofing project is next on our docket. We also want to have a few mini homes on our plot of land to create a community for friends, family and any creatives who want to join our artistic endeavors.
