Married in 1952 at age 19, now 92 and 73 years married!

Doug was visiting his sister and brother in law (Ruby & Art) in NJ. Arts brother, Jona, was interested in Evelyn and they had went on dates, but he told her she could be his “good girlfriend” and he would see other girls. She said “see ya” and then met Doug. They married in 1952, Doug was in the army until 1955 which is the year they had their 1st child. 7 years later they had another boy and then unexpectedly 3 years later they had a daughter.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In 1952 traveled to Florida and decided then that they would retire there someday. In 1996 they made that dream a reality. They were “snow birds” for awhile and would travel back to their daughter’s home every summer to spend time with their grandchildren when they were still little.
What would you do with $20,000?Would probably use it to update the bathroom in Doug & Evelyn’s room, as they are not able to use it at this time. It has an old style tub and neither one can get in and out of it due to their age. Also the tile floor in that bathroom needs to be replaced; basically the bathroom need a full remodel to make it safe & functional for two 92 year olds!
