We got set up while Dylanis was in Madrid and Dawson in Tampa. Her friend and his friend were dating at the time. She called Dylanis to tell her that her boyfriend’s friend was adding me on snapchat. It was the most brutal week. He sucked at texting and the time difference wasn’t really helping. When Dylanis finally made it back to Tampa, she was welcomed home by a girls night out turned double date. Dawson was her blind date. After that date, we were inseparable.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?The first time we said I love you. We went to Busch Gardens and had a great date together just riding rollercoasters, eating and talking. At the end of the night, we got to Dawson’s car and he started to say that there was something he wanted to say. I nodded at him and he stuttered and stuttered through it until I finally figured it out. I got tired of waiting so I blurted it out before he could. It was so funny and so like us too.
What would you do with $20,000?Dylanis is currently in Medical School and Dawson is finishing up his undergraduate degree to go into Medical School. The money will be used to pay for the wedding of our dreams.
