It was love at first sight. We went to the State Fair. I noticed, but he didn't know I knew, it took him 3 times to put his arm around me. The kicker was he held my purse for me to play ski ball. He still carries my purse 43 years later. He told me that we are 2 half's to a full circle. In our 43 years we have never said the divorce word to each other. Don't get me wrong, we had times that we got angry with each other, because we are 2 opposites, but we would talk it out, not tell it out.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Traveling to Memphis TN to celebrate our 23 wedding anniversary, we stopped at at the rest area between TN and AL and had a picnic lunch relaxing under a tree and listened to a blues band welcoming everyone to TN. It's the little things that count.
What would you do with $20,000?Go on another memorable trip on our bucket list that we can't really afford. I just put Portland Oregon Tulip festival. I would love to take my kids too.
