We met at a house party my roommate had in October 2013. I was on the patio with friends. In walked this guy wearing sunglasses at night. We dubbed him Mr Too Cool. He and I had a great chat but then the night went on without anything more. 2 days later, he found me on Facebook via my roommate. He asked me out on a proper date. Being 7 years older than him, I didn’t expect he was serious but he was. He asked me to be his girlfriend on 11/18/2013. Of course I said yes!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We took a trip in 2022 to visit friends Michigan. On day 2, we played a one shot Dungeons and Dragons campaign for just a few hours. 9 hours later, we won but were given a cryptex to unscramble with clues we collected along the way. Once we opened it, a scroll was inside. It was a love letter from Cory’s character to mine. He proposed with ring in hand at the end the campaign and 1000% surprised me. I still cry happy tears when I watch the video!
What would you do with $20,000?I would like to use it for a honeymoon experience. We haven’t taken a honeymoon since we got married 10/15/2023. We bought a house May 2024, so that put it farther on the back burner. Plus my employment has been in flux due to my dynamic neurological disabilities. I’m thankful my husband has steady work but I want to contribute in some way towards our memories too.
