We met at The Airliner in LA—Dominic was the bartender, and the spark was instant. Cierra lived far away, so every work trip to LA meant a quick visit, a little flirting, then goodbye. For a while, we were just that: flirty strangers. Then Dominic moved to New Orleans, and our story truly began. From long-distance love to building a life—and bar—together, The Double Club. Now we’re partners in business and love, and soon, parents to a baby girl.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Over the last few years, we’ve had the opportunity to travel more together than ever before. One of our favorite memories was getting invited to visit Amatiteña Tequila and Pelacañas Rum distilleries in Mexico. As spirit lovers, learning about these incredible brands was unforgettable. We connected with passionate pros, deepened our craft, and most importantly, shared it all side by side.

What would you do with $20,000?

As a true mom-and-pop small business, this year has brought major challenges—from the NYE terrorist attack to economic strain to operating a business in 200-year-old building that constantly needs repairs. We’ve been focused on keeping our bar alive, with little room to plan financially for our growing family. If we won $20,000, we’d use it to provide for our baby girl due at the end of September—getting ready for her arrival and saving the rest for her future.
