We come from tough family backgrounds and we just continue to choose each other and build our own family (full of pets and friends and love)
We would like to thank you for supporting Dom & Candace in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met during the pandemic right after the world shut down. I was young and taking care of my sick mom. He drove me to and from all appointments and 3 months in helped me plan a funeral. We spent a lot of dates outside (for safety). Our second date was a hike at Minnewaska state park, which is also where we got engaged this past fall.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?About a year and a half into our relationship he flew to Arizona with me to meet my siblings and nieces and nephews for the first time. From there we flew to San Diego where we had the most magical moments in slot canyons, getting up close and personal with wildlife, and sitting on cliffs together as the sun set. The last time I was in San Diego was with my mom right before she passed. Doing the things with him that I did with her felt like the two of them meeting. It was magical.
What would you do with $20,000?We would have a small intimate wedding with our closest friends and family. Right now the plan is city hall but it would mean the world to be able to get both of our families together to celebrate.
