We met through my son Chase when we moved into DJ’s neighborhood when Chase was little. It wasn't too long after that when Chase went to DJ and told him that he should ask his mom out. It wasn't hard for Chase to give DJ his blessing and they were an instant family. DJ loved Chase as his own. My son was in an accident 1 1/2 year into our relationship and DJ quit his job to take care of him. My son passed away 2 years later in 2018. Our love story continued with our son watching us in Heaven
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have so many but my favorite memory is our trips to New York that DJ would take me on Mother’s Day after I lost my son. DJ and I have made incredible memories over the years of our own and it’s become our happy place.
What would you do with $20,000?We had planned to go to Hawaii with my son when he graduated, but he graduated after his accident when he was in a wheelchair and then passed away a year later so we never got the opportunity
